binding
Does anyone know the name of a book with lots of picture help for binding only. I seem to have a horrible time binding the quilt. I use the flannel backing and fold it over the quilt and just have a mess at each corner. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Evelyn in Sequim WA |

If you are bringing the binding over from the back, try this tutorial. You can print it out. It's helped me a lot.

Mimi Dietrich's book "Happy Endings - finishing the edges of your quilts" ( don't laugh) is a great book and well written. I have used this book many times. It features all types of binding and has answers for every question.

I bought the Quick and Easy Mitered ~Binding Tool made by sew biz. Its a template with 90* lines that I place on the corner of my topper and draw a lint to sew on. Super easy peasy, only draw back I paid $17 but worth every penny.

What helped me the most was on a website...if you Google Hello My Name Is Heather Binding Tutorial, then go to the bottom of the page and click on binding tutorial you will have all kinds of color pictures and this helped me particularly with joining the ends of the binding at the end of the quilt...for some reason her pictures really made sense to me.

I have done many the way you do it and have not had problems, but I pin all along the binding to make sure and ease when need be but not much. Pin pin pin.

I use Sharon Schambers glue method. She has video tutorials on youtube.com
