Bindings on fleece backed quilts

I have just finished a fleece backed quilt and I am not sure how to bind it. This quilt is for the car for ball games, track meets, etc. Do most of you bind the quilt with cotton fabrics or simply turn a small amount of the fleece over the topper edge and sew down?

Both techniques work fine. Just depends on what look you want.

I've done it both ways, prefer the cotton fabric cuz I found it easier to work with.

I might turn the fleece to the front and sew along the edge having enough extra to fringe it.

I've done it both ways, if using regular cotton I machine stitch to the backside ( fleece side) then fold to the front to hand stitch- the fleece is difficult to hand stitch through.
