If you have never tried it, try it.

I used black Quilter's Dream cotton for an all black applique quilt and I have been very happy with it.

I did a mostly black quilt several years ago and used the black batting. It made the black blacker and I really liked the look. It made it a richer color black. I believe warm and natural may come in black. I don't remember where I got mine.

I also use W&N on black quilts---no problems. I do use Warm & white on quilts with lots of white in them though.

My Modern Quilt Guild make 12 quilts for a youth shelter. The tops were HSTs one side black and the backing a variety of fabrics, we used black batting and it worked very well for the project.

I bought a black batting some years ago. I have still not used it........
