I love mine ... sharper and lasting longer than any of the expensive ones I got from big brand name companies. I have them in both my Olfa and 'orange and grey' one, the name is rubbed off.

I agree, maybe you got a bad batch. I figured mine were working so well cuz they had to be really sharp and strong to be cutting carpets ... compared to just fabrics.

So far the few packs of 20 that I bought have all been really great, I bought mine online last year when the quilters had a run on them at the local Harbor Freight stores.

Harbor Freight blades, did you notice they are circle in the center and the ones you buy from JoAnn's have a different center on them, that could be some of the reason. I have used both at different times, mixed emotions.

I have been using a Harbor Freight blade. I have made a queen size quilt, DP9 that I cut myself, 5 mug rugs, 2 clutches, a bow tuck bag. It is still sharp. Maybe you just got a bad pack. The blade I had before was an Olfa. The Olfa skipped and I had to recut over an over. You can get bad blades with name brands too.

Mine worked great. Maybe it was a bad batch. At the price it might be worth trying again

Perhaps we've been buying them up so quickly that the manufacturers have begun to go a little too fast in the process. I've had one that I had to throw out but other than that have had very good luck with them.

I bought some and the ones I tried were beyond dull. I was so frustrated, I didn't bother to open any of the other packs I bought. I'm not giving up but Yuck! It was awful. The bad blade I took out of the cutter worked better than the new Harbor Freight blade. With so many people using them, maybe there is hope the next ones will be better.

I just put one in the rotary cutter a couple of days ago. I swear I have never had any blade as sharp as that one. I haven't had any problems with any of them so far, but this last one was especially sharp.

I,m with you. I ordered 10 packs awhile back when they were on sale. They are horrible. I tried time and again to cut
with them and as you say, the one they were replacing it with was better.
I will never purchase them again.
I,m, just stuck with all these. I will go back to Olfa and Fiskars.

Me too. But even if you have to throw a few away, you are farther ahead than paying the outlandish price at the LQS or Jo-Anns.

Unfortunately I too bought 4 packs and have a horrible batch--dull, pulled at the material. Price was great, cut not at the expense of the accuracy of my quilts :(
