Sounds like you got a bad blade. I've used these and have never had a problem. Sorry for your bad luck.

I only use blades made by Martelli. They are the best and sharpest in my experience!

Ditto!!! They don't work they just slide around!!! MY cutting mats are brand new!!!!

I've been using them for well over a year and never had a bad one yet... hope I didn't jinx myself! :eek:

I too have been using them since last year with no problem. I clean my cutter each time of all the fuzz and I rotate which lines I cut on on my mat so that I don't get much of a groove to cause a problem. If I don't cut correctly due to being too quick, not paying as close attention, or at the wong angle, I have an occasional thread that doesn't cut, but not a big deal.
I'll keep buying them.

I didn't have good luck with them either and having sliced my finger deeply due to a dull blade, I'm just sticking with Olfa blades from now on. I did read a post a while back that suggested that the problem may be due to the mat not "healing" and that this would make them cut poorly. I'm not sure why, but it's a thought.

I purchased some of those blades from Harbor Freight; they were awful so I threw them away. I will purchase Olfa blades when they are on sale.
