This afternoon I FMQ'd around the outside border of a charity quilt. This is all that is left of the spool of thread. Tad bit hard to see as it is light gray thread on a bright yellow spool. Just a few wraps left. Feeling blessed!

Whoa! I bet you were watching that thread like a hawk. I once got down to 16 inches left on the spool after putting I the last of the quilting. But last night I ran out before the very last digit in the label I was making to finish it. Looks funny ...not 2016, just 201!

That has never happened to me. I always seem to run out! :(

Yup, I used the rest of the thread to start hand sewing the binding down. Good to the last fiber!

I feel blessed when I finish quilting and find my bobbin thread just ran out at the tail. Has happened a couple times.

there is just something SO satisfying about an empty spool of thread! It makes my day...even if I ran out in the middle of a seam!
