Looking for the directions to make a block design mirror. I saw the topic here in the past, but unable to find now after in the search. Thinking it wasn't much more than two mirror squares and duct tape.

Thanks!

I recently cleaned out an apartment in my complex. The renters who had moved out left a broken mirror. It was some novelty thing with cowboys at the bottom. The unbroken part was 8" wide a little over 26" long. I took it to a window shop just down the street and he cut it up into 4 equal sized pieces. I took two of them and used duct tape on the back side for a hinge. I made two complete sets, keeping one for myself and giving one away to a friend. He even ground down the edges for safety. Since I was having other work done, he only charged me $2.00 to cut the mirror. Yay!

all you have to do is hold 2 mirrors side by side- like an open book- if you want the mirrors to be together- you just put tape-what ever along that (spine)
you open the mirrors up and place them along 2 sides of a block=
i use 6" square mirrors- but you could probably use 12" mirror tiles

I used two mirrored candle squares/plates and duct taped them together. You can also use the square mirror tiles that you buy at the hardware store.Get together with some quilting friends and split up a box of 12? Check out you Dollar store for square hand mirrors that you could take apart.

Here is the one that I made. When I finished duct taping together, I glued art foam on the back to give it a little bit of protection.
