Blood on the Quilt!! Help!!
I'm almost finished with a quilt. Sometime this morning I cuty had and didn't realize. I moved the quilt and noticed blood in two spots. Of course it's on the back where the fabric is light! Any suggestions on getting it out without spreading it?

Soak in cold water and I don't know what cleaner would be the best to use. Just don't wash in hot water or dry it in the dryer until it is out. I'm sure others will have a good answer. :) Best of luck to you

Hydrogen peroxide will instantly remove it. We use it in the hospital when a venipuncture springs a leak. . works wonders

Hydrogen peroxide will break it down. Might want to try on a scrap first. Also, as gross as it sounds, spit enzymes will break it down.

I agree with your own spit!

If it is your blood, your saliva will take it out. Put a piece of cotton or clump of thread in your mouth and get it wet with your saliva and put it on the blood. I promise this works.

peroxide! i've had to use it many times - i pour some onto the spot- then blot with paper towel as it foams up(breaks down the blood) sometimes you may have to do it a few times to get it all out.
