Today Cheryl Rearick and I got together for a little shopping at Going Batty quilt shop. She had done some sewing for the charity silent auction and wanted to hand it off to me personally. She is very shy, so I didn't take pictures. Maybe next time. It sure was fun Oooo and Ahhing over the fabrics and chatting about the quilt board.


I got this cute metal purse frame and pattern, a jelly roll of batiks and a set of a pair of small embroidery sissors and retractable tape measure in black and white floral matching print.

So jealous. I know you both from pm'ing. Glad you got to meet. I love meeting other board members. Hugs, Redgarnett.

She really doen't live in reno. So I am hoping we get together when she comes into town. I invited her over for a sew day. But, we will see.

I want to go where you all are going... lol.... Actually I had a wonderful time with Red. (blond) :) We were hurried as I had to be at a meeting re: my daughters foundation. Red made me feel so very confortable, and yes, I am on the shy side till I know you. Red talks 100 miles a min. :) :) :) that is what put me at ease.... no lulls (smile) and darn I missed the $1.00 yard. We live in Silver Springs, I do not drive in cities, AND with my fibro, it is easy for me to fall asleep at the wheel. Hoping soon things will happen so daughter can take me to Reds to visit for most of day and come and get me. For sure no room here :) I sew in my bedroom. Red it really was a great hour and for sure there will be many more. Blessings :) We live abt 80 miles apart.. :( I forgot to say. Red made a beautiful handbag for my daugher's silend auction in June.. (((hugs))) Will post it tomorrow. Thank you Red....
