I have recently started making bow tucks purses and needed something to firm up the bottom well here is what I found - on the day after last election time I asked some political parties if I could have some of their campaign signs to opaint over and use for yard sale signs - they were happy to give them away because they have to pay people to pick them up - anyway they are made of corregated plastic and are eay to cut - also use them to wrap fabric to place on shelf - local election time coming up and the signs are usually free day after election

Great idea! I've been using corrugated cardboard but plastic would be a little more sturdy.

You cut the coroplast (corugated plastic) with a hobby knife or box cutter, just like you would cardboard.
