Bobbin Holders

Does anyone know of a bobbin holder that will hold bobbins for the Bernina 820? They are wider than regular bobbins. Thanks.

Someone posted a link or picture of the plastic spine from the books bound at staples. You know the long plastic strip with the plastic rings protruding that go through the little rectangle holes in the book spine? I don't know if it would work on the larger bobbins but I think it would. Some people use the little tie separator foam things from pedicure kits.

I have the answer to this one and found it by sheer luck ,my daughter gave me a small box of chocolates called FERRERO collection holds nine chocolates.....when you have eaten the delights in the container they then fit the bobbin of my 830 perfectly I now have two them one for bobbinfil bobbins the other for sewing thread . I have the round wheel sort of rubber things...three of them, 2 for embroidery thread and one for sewing thread, the width doesn't matter, just holds a few less...I have one for each machine in a different color so I can keep track as they don't play well in the wrong machine.

The cerlox coils should work as they come in different sizes. Just get the right size.

You can buy the large bobbins in a little plastic tube with a screw off top with a ring on the end.
I think it's 5 per container.

Would empty prescription pill bottles work? Your pharmacy will sell you empty ones without labels on them. Granted, most I've seen are see through brown color, but they have lids and come in different sizes. Just a thought...

also can use clear vinyl tubing from Lowes or Home Depot - cut it to fit the width of the bobbin, then cut thru one side so it opens up to slip the bobbin in. When it's all cut correctly, each piece looks like a C, or an O with a slit in one side. Tubing comes in various sizes - buy one slightly smaller than the filled bobbin so it has pressure to stay closed.
