Bobbin issues

Sorry I can’t help, I don't have that machine, but have you tried a new bobbin? That one looks like it is very loosely wound.
|
I agree, wind a new bobbin and make sure it turns in the correct direction
|
Like the others, I don't know your machine, but my first thought is a newly bobbin, making sure it is wound tight.
Also, ensure you are inserting and threading it correctly. Likewise, take off the top thread and start fresh with it, ensuring it is placed right from spool to needle. |
The bobbin thread also looks thicker then what I use. That may be causing a problem.
|
I would also take the bobbin case out and make sure it is clean underneath. Look for any tiny threads that may be stuck under there
|
yes...that bobbin thread looks really thick....are you winding your own bobbins and what thread is in it. On both my Berninas and Vikings, they have a specialty bobbin case for using thicker threads.

Check your manual. Is that the right bobbin?
For most BL machines, you want the thread coming off the bobbin in a "p". P is for perfect. Make sure this is correct for your machine also. I have no experience with that model machine. Can you use a pre-wound bobbin? See if the same thing happens. PS: Take out the bobbin and the bobbin case. Check to see if there is any threads caught somewhere under the case. A tiny piece of thread can cause issues. Does your machine have the round magnet donut under the bobbin case? Make sure it is seated back into position. It is easy to lose when cleaning the case area. This may not pertain to BL machine you have but just a suggestion. |
