which bobbin for the Juki 2010q?
I need to get some bobbins, I can not find which class or number to look for in a bobbin.
any help would be appreciated! happy new year! |
Have you tried asking Mr. Google? There are many places that offer them. Some are sewing machine vendors you could call to make sure.

So, still hoping some kind juki owner will respond and spill the beans |
I don't know if they are interchangeable with the Class L or M, but honestly have not attempted to try anything other than the recommended style. I order mine online. These are the ones I purchased. At that time I bought them, they had the best price/lowest shipping:
http://www.thesewingoutlet.com/searc...5623AQ&x=0&y=0 I did purchase some on ebay once, but returned them. They didn't have a hole to pull the thread thru to start the winding and wouldn't wind properly. Be sure what you buy has the holes. |
It takes Class L

I don't have this machine but a google search of parts vendors shows this-
http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/juk...10q-parts.aspx According to this vendor your machine takes L style rotary bobbins. Cari Edit: The green Viking bobbins must not be the same as the Class L as listed in that link. They won't fit on the bobbin winder. Bummer. Maybe a generic Class L would fit but I will have to check if the opening is the same size to fit the spindle. |
My Husqvarna Viking bobbins will not fit my Juki. I bought Class L generic bobbins and they work just fine. A local Phaff dealer also had bobbins to fit my Juki that were from her Phaff midarm machine. I'm now trying to find out what bobbins my new Juki Exceed 600 takes as the manual doesn't say either.

My Viking Ruby takes 15 bobbin size, my Juki HZL600 and my Janome class L, the Juki and the Janome are interchangeable, but the Viking on its own, as the Viking bobbins are green it stops me making a daft mistake x

They can use a generic rotary bobbin. "BOBBIN rotary hook machines metal holes on 1-side #55623NS" -- from the Brewer catalog. The 2010 is a semi-industrial, and doesn't take the same bobbin as the Juki HZL models. Nor does it take a class M like the Juki 2200.

I get mine from Quilt Tech - I know they take an L size metal bobbin but I don't know if there is a classification for the height of the bobbin...but I did find that when I bought my Juki TL 2010Q, it came with 100 L plastic bobbins and they did NOT work. The big thing with the Juki is it has to have the little slot for the bobbin winder...I actually interchange my long arm bobbins as my APQS also takes and L with my Juki...I just wind the long arm bobbins on a side winder. LOL

I get mine from Amazon. Class L, metal.
