I am trying to stipple with my sewing machine on a Flynn frame. My thread is not catching the bobbin thread.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong.

I'll bet your needle is in backwards. Check that first.

I changed needles and now it works fine.

For those of us who can't afford a longarm these frames work pretty well.

what size is ur machine throat??? mine is @ 6 inches.I was concerned that I would not have a large enough quilt area with the flynn....

i think you can turn your machine so only the needle area is close to you and then you can move side to side easily.

My throat is 8 inches. You would just have to move the bars more often.
