My bobbin on my Singer Ingenuity has recently decided to not wind tightly. Does anyone know what causes this?
Thanks!

Do you have the thread going thru that little round button thing? and thru that little "clamp" on the back edge? Also, is the slot in your bobbin over that little spring on the bobbin pin?

These are all the places I had to check when mine did that.

I *think* so...lol
I don't think I've been doing anything differently than I always did, but I'll double check. Thanks!

DO you need to set the machine speed for bobbin winding? On my Brother it needed to be in high gear.

Did you have the thread going through all the loops on the way to the bobbin? I missed one on my machine once and the bobbin was all irregular.

This happened on my Brother and the tension on the bobbin winder was off. Had to take it to the repairman.
