So i was at my moms and she gave me a bunch of some patriotic fabric (reds, blues, stars, creams/off whites, bandana styles). A lot was from a quilt she made for a friend a few Years back so while a lot of it is uncut there is a chunk of pieces cut into 3 1/2 inch squares. I planned to work on it while waiting for a friend to send me fabric to start on the quilt she commissioned, and planning a double wedding ring quilt And lone star quilt... I seem to be mind boggled with what to do with this fabric. If anyone has any suggestions I would love an extra brain to throw ideas at me!

Well, lets see for one Welcome to the board from Oregon.
Second. I haven't a clue what to use it for. I've always wanted to do a quilt with red, whites and blues but never have. I am sure that someone will be able to help you. A D9P or a turning 20 would be cool. |

How about a lap quilt for a local soldier who may be in a hospital somewhere near you.

one of our board members is making quilts for military wounded. She could always use blocks and fabric if you don't end up using them. Smilessssss

The National Guard in your state has wounded soldiers.if you call them you could give a soldier a patriotic quilt and it would be in your state.I do this on a regular basis and often have been able to deliver it in person only rarely did I have to go to the expense of mailing.I have a son in the guard who is in Afghanistan now and he told me how to take care of the soldiers in this area. They would appreciate.Wonder from simple to complex.Wonder blocks are a lit of fun.
