Bonnie Hunter’s Frolic quilt

In 2019 I worked on Bonnie’s mystery quilt “Frolic” but set it aside as life got busy. I am trying to finish it up but I am missing Part (or clue) 3. Does anyone still have her instructions for that quilt and would be willing to share Part 3 with me? If so, please PM me. Thank you so much.

Well, I searched all over for it but can't seem to locate it anywhere. Maybe you could email Bonnie & maybe she would be kind enough to provide it for you.
Or, maybe you could email this man & ask him. He seems to really like Bonnie's quilts.

If not, I did find a site that sells the digital pattern here:

Hope you can find help with some of these suggestions.

I'll send you a DM!

I hope Sephie can help. I wouldn't write Bonnie :) She is adamant about the patterns being pulled and going to the store.
It might be possible to find it on the Wayback machine though?

You can buy the pattern from Bonnie for $12.

Frolic is one of the BH mysteries I also didn't finish (along with both of my versions of Good Fortune). This post nudged me to get everything out and look it over.

I had not been pleased with my Frolic. I tend to get kind of obsessed with the paint chips and stick close to them, but after seeing other people's brighter looking Frolics -- speaking particularly of the dark reds I used -- I had entertained the idea of bringing in some brighter reds. But upon refreshing my memory, I see how hopelessly intertwined with same fabrics all of the block components are! I also remembered what fun I had working on it. I think those were the most intricate directions ever for a mystery, as far as same set components and setting things aside.

So I'm thinking I won't try to revise any of the blocks, but possibly can insert some brighter reds into borders.

joes'mom- I'm in the same boat, in fact I took mine apart because it was so ugly! It's still in pieces.........sigh.
Good luck with yours.

SusieQOH, I can't believe you took your Frolic apart after all that work putting it together!!!! (It looked really nice to me -- p. 140 in the archive thread, if anyone else is interested).

I do think BH's quilts look their best in photos, where the pattern is clear and one isn't overwhelmed by all the little pieces.

Yeah, I really did. It made me dizzy looking at it Lol! Lol!
I don't know what I'm going to do with it. I know, all that work, right? Oh well, I'm not concerned today. I'll deal with it when I'm ready haha!!
