My boss's mom is the one who got me started in quilting. One of the quilt groups she belongs to uses their stash fabrics to make boo boo babies. It's a doll body made out of one fabric with no eyes or anything. After the dolls are stuffed, they write "From the heart" on the leg and they donate them to the local hospital for the staff to hand out to children in the ER, the lab or pediatrics. Just something soft to hold on to, and how simple.
