Quilting rules? Maybe in judging at quilt shows. But other than that, just do what pleases you.

My new rule is if you make a boo-boo, but you are consistent with it on whatever you are making, it is not a boo-boo, but your interpetation of the design! The guilt free rule for quilters and knitters-just as long as it is pleasing to you.

It is perfect just the way it is! You are the artist!!

On many of my art quilts, there's no binding showing on the front. However it looks the best to you - keep it that way.

I cut my bindings at 2 1/4 " so I guess I would only have a half of a boo boo! Thank god there are NO rules !!!!

I always cut my binding at 2". I'm sure it looks terrific!!!

RULES????? There's RULES???? Okay -- who called in the quilting police????????? If you have it done --- and it covers the seam line...LEAVE IT ALONE!!!! :) :)

Absolutely not. Quilting is an art and if you are happy with your design then no rules were broken.

I cut mine at 2" or 2 1/8" anyway. I like a thin, fine binding.

If it looks good, Leave It.
