I really don’t have a favorite book or author. Check your public library first. They have many and quilt/sewing magazines, too.

I suggest Leah Day. She has a lot of free videos and tutorials on her website. She goes slowly enough to understand. She recently wrote a book on perfect piecing. Leahday.com
