I'm a new quilter, been at it for about a month now. Really want to get a Carol Doak book on pp, but can't decide between these two:

Both come with CD-roms for printing out the patterns, so should I go for the big one with more patterns?

Thanks!

I would recommend the 300 Paper Pieced Blocks that way you can start with blocks with fewer pieces and work your way up to the more complex blocks as you become familiar with the process which is really easy, but definitely start with the blocks with larger and fewer pieces. I think you will have a lot of fun with it.

Thanks! I'm going to order it now! :)

I have the second book, 300 PP Blocks and it has a wide variety of blocks:alphabet, numbers, pictorial, baskets, some seasonal and LOTS of designs even a few stars. I honestly don't think you would be disappointed with this book.
