Border with organza

I know I have seen a quilt on this board with organza on the border for a special effect. Did all kinds of search here but unable to find that quilt! Anyone remember what I am asking about?? Thanks in advance

Are you sure it was in the border?

I know Mary Katherine had this whale one with chiffon (similar to organza) in the spray:

And Geta has posted numerous shadow trapunto quilts using Organza

I would not use organza in a quilt. It is very delicate and would not last very long.

The technique to use it is mostly art quilts and it is very heavily quilted over so as to only add a shimmer or as shadow trapunto. The first link I posted from Geta is an excellent example of that. It is probably not recommended for a utility quilt.
