Oh, Dina. It's turning out so well..... love the color selections. And, I also like #2 the best. I'm so excited for you to get this one finished.... It almost feels like it's one of my own quilts. You know why. Yeah!!!

Yes, Jean, it SHOULD feel like one of your own quilts! I thank you so much for all your help. Here it is with the borders on. I am very pleased with it!!

2nd one! Absolutely gorgeous quilt!

0tis 08-11-2014 06:52 AM

I like the first one.

Of the two of them, I prefer #2, but I have made that pattern (in almost the same colors) and I would add a 1/2" border of white between the medium purple and purple, not the larger white border. I really don't like the white there. I would prefer the lavender first.

I like #2.

shasta5718 08-11-2014 09:00 AM

2nd makes it pop. Lovely quilt.

tlpa 08-11-2014 09:32 AM

I like the 2nd as well, really ties in the lighter purple.

angelarose 08-11-2014 10:23 AM

I vote for the second one. Stunning!

grandme26 08-11-2014 10:33 AM

The second picture

nanac 08-11-2014 10:49 AM

My first thought was #1. That is, until I saw how much better it looked when you had both borders on. It just ties everything in together, and makes it stand out. Now I have to put that on my bucket list. I have a relative wo is begging me to ake her a purple quilt, and it looks like I just found the perfect pattern, lol.

fivepaws 08-11-2014 12:07 PM

Second one for me too.

Carol Wilson 08-11-2014 12:37 PM

2nd one definately, the white in the first border is "lost".

cassiemae 08-11-2014 12:59 PM

Ditto on the second one and your quilt is beautiful.

fmhall2 08-11-2014 02:58 PM

I like the second one the best. By the way, very nice quilt.

calla 08-11-2014 03:05 PM

#2 seems to frame the blocks

calicostitches 08-11-2014 03:10 PM

Dina: your quilt is beautiful and i think that the second border is the best one

maryb119 08-11-2014 03:15 PM

I vote for the second one. It's a beautiful quilt.

Marilynsue 08-11-2014 03:31 PM

Definitely No.2

dlux 08-11-2014 03:39 PM

The second one. Beautiful quilt.

caspharm 08-11-2014 03:40 PM

I agree with the second one.

sewhapyana 08-11-2014 07:32 PM

I like the one with two borders. Also, what is the name of your block pattern.

Boston1954 08-11-2014 09:41 PM

I vote for number 2. It sets it off so nicely.

It's Lover's Knots.

I think I like the second option the best.

CorgiNole 08-12-2014 11:42 AM

Second one pops the quilt!

Cheers, K

bbeyes 08-12-2014 04:26 PM

I like the 2nd one makes the colors pop

ILoveToQuilt 08-12-2014 04:56 PM

#2 is my choice, but either one will look wonderful on your gorgeous quilt.

sewbeadit 08-12-2014 06:21 PM
