We did the knife edge binding on ours. Looks great.

Prpoints too much for a he I quilt. Either half hexes to straighten edge or keep the curved edge. Not sure what a knife edge is

If you are looking for suggestions of what kind of a finish to your GFG, google "GFG quilt" images and be inspired!! There will be lots and lots of ideas!
