Just dont use painters tape on vinyl with a roller foot and sew over it. Just ask me how I know.

The blue painter's tape saves me a lot of frustration with straight line quilting - of course, I never sew over it, but reuse many times. Happy someone else discovered my 'little secret!' I do quilt only with cotton.
