Borders okay?
A customer asked me to finished this quilt started by her mother many years ago. I need to add borders to the top her mother made and then hand quilt it. She did not want me to go with blues. Do you think these will be okay for borders and binding? I wanted to keep the scrappy and old look. (Ignore the white. It's just covering up the rest of the binding fabric.)

Okay, why is my picture "failing to upload"?

I like that - the green is a nice border and I like the binding darker. I think it works really well!

The green is a very nice choice, but I have to give you a giggle... At first I thought the green was you cutting mat!!!:D

Great choices. These really bring out the rest of the colors

I think you kept the character of the quilt perfectly. Nice.

Perfect choices for borders and binding!

Great choice, I had to re-read the post cause I thought they were the ones already on the quilt and you were looking for more. I can be pretty slow sometimes. I really like it, and she should too.

Great choice!

:thumbup::thumbup: I really like the green border and the narroe darker binding. Blue is such a go-to color that others are often left out of consideration. There are actually several units in the center with green on them, so the emphasis on greens brings them out and softens the overall look of the quilt. NICELY DONE!
