I dont have a pic to post( I havent figured that out yet) . I went to a class a BowTuck class today and I must say it really isnt hard at all, I got intimidated by some posts here saying they are difficult, so I waited for this class....
I really think I could have figured it out on my own but was glad for the guidence and a few tricks she did. I came home to cut out another !!! I did make my straps longer I dont like them as short as the pattern calls for. I cut everything out last night which took about 1 1/2 hours. Sewing part took about 4 hours. |
After the first one they are so much fun to make. I can't wait to see yours

That just goes to show how helpful it can be to take a class. My first one took almost twice as long as yours, plus you had the comaraderie of your classmates and teacher.

It's always fun to take a class. I love the all day classes and just getting together with other people who sew.

Classes are fun. Love the chit chatting and especially the help of the instructors when it is needed. I am planning on taking a Bargello class in a few weeks. I know those on the board here who have made them say they are easy, but I for one am intimidated by the looks of them......so I signed up. Hope you can figure out how to post pictures. Would love to see your bow tucks.

Can I ask a completely stupid question? I've searched the internet and am totally clueless - what is a "bow tuck purse" and who came up with the idea? Thanks so much for helping!
