I just used a bow tuck as a fundraiser. I made the bag. Other association members brought gift cards. I put them on foam board and added a wallet, gloves, hand sanitizer and lotion. It was a hit and raised a lot of money.

This is my first. It isn't as dramatic as a lot of the other purses I've seen on here but it looks really good "in person"!
I'd love some pattern suggestions for matching accessories like check book covers, coin purses, etc. Getting ready to start my next one today! Got lots of ideas!! |
I love the fabrics you used for your bag.
Nice job on the sewing and on raising the money! |
love the purse, think I will hint for the pattern for x-mas :)

Love your purse! I also made one, it was a huge hit when I was among friends, now THEY want one!!!!

So happy your purse turned out so pretty! I bought patterns for both the small and larger bow tuck purses, but thus far haven't made either. After reading your post, I'm ready to get out my pattern and get busy making one! Thanks for sharing your positive experience!

Welcome, and I agree that once you have made one bag you NEED to make more - they are great. I have made 4 and on the last one I put side pockets on and gave it to my DD to use as a baby bag. She puts everything she needs for Eviee - 8 weeks old and adorable -- and so many of her friends ask her where she bought it - nice feeling LOL !!
