I have had this pattern for about a year now, and have not made a bag yet. These pix are definitely motivating!!! Thanks to everyone that has shared pix of their bags. I love seeing so many different bags...all from one pattern!!!

Quiltlady, I am guessing that they call the purse bow tucks because the end (sides) of the purse are tucked in, folded and held by the bows on the ends??!! Ogama, I think you are probably addressing McDaniel, but I have seen a lot of discussion on this board for pricing of the bow tucks and from what I've seen it depends on where you are. I read where one lady posted that at craft sales, if you keep the cost below $40 they sell pretty easily but I read another posting that out on the West coast they go for as high as $50. I shopped economically for the fabric but the pellon is very expensive.
Also, can't remember who posted but the tip to add the outer pocket when you sew the top and bottom together is a great improvement. Thanks!!! |
Makes you feel good when someone likes your work. Good Job!
