I have used fuseable fleece on all four of mine & also quilted them. I think it give's the bag more shape, than without!!

I didn't use the fusible fleecs--just put in some scraps of batting that I had left over from quilts. I quilted on the diagonal. Turned out great!

We quilted ours very simply (forgot to do it before the pocket was sewn on) and they are great. Also used the Pelon fleece and like it a lot.

I used the 987 and used pre-quilted for my first one. The current one I am attempting FMQ.

I used the 987 on most of the ones I made but I did also try a regular cotton batting on one and spray basted it to the fabric. I quilted all of them, some on the diagonal about 2 inches apart and some I did horizontal lines across.

I fmq mine. I also used the 987 pelon ff. I only made two so far. I am planning on making a few more for christmas gifts.

I use the Pellon fusible fleece and quilt the outside pieces. Since I'm not so great at FMQ I always quilt a straight line design. Love the Bow Tucks bags!!!

I have quilted the four that I have made on the diagonal, both outside and the lining. I also used the fusible fleece. For the quilting I used that blue painter's tape in the 1 1/2" width as a guide. I would sew next to the tape and then lift it and move over for the next line. Made it so much easier and does not overly stick to the fabric.

If you don't have fusible fleece you can use adhevsive on regular batting and I would think it would work just fine!

I also used the blue panters tape to guide my stitches, on the diagonal. Used batting and 505 spay adhesive, I felt that was much more economical than the fusible.
