I have the mini pattern. Is there another pattern to make a
bigger one? Or did you just adjust the sizing and by how much?
Also since I am making the minis right now I am going to put a botton on one and a snap on the other. What size button did you use?

Yes, there is a bigger version. That pattern is just called Bow Tucks

To make the mini tote what size of button did you use. My husband picked out my button and I think it is alittle small. It is 3/4". Do I need a 1" button for the mini? Hopefully it will be finished tomorrow to get it posted.
Also people here are saying that they used the matte board for the bottom. I went to Joanns and all that I found was the matting that had a picture hole cut out in it. Is this what you used or was it a solid matte? I couldn't get much help there today. So when I went to the Dollar Tree (I don't know if it will be as solid) I found the plastic cutting mats that you use to chop food on. I thought that if it where too flimsy maybe I could use 2pieces of it inside the fabric. What do you think? Or even maybe try plastic canvas?

the matte board I used in mine was a full sheet in the art dept. like heavy posterboard

I used a piece of timtex (the stuff used for fabric bowls) for mine. It worked just fine. You can use anything that will keep the bottom flat. Plastic canvas should work just fine.

I just use cardboard for my bottoms ... and cover it with fabric. It works great!
