Does anyone know where I can find an online pattern or tutorial for this?
I have seen this type of pattern before, I just never knew what it was called, haha.
I keep pulling up links to buy kits and patterns online, but I'm not interested in paying for something that I can figure out myself, if need be.

I love that quilt, but I bought the pattern, I haven't made it yet. Sorry can't help.

It looks like the basic block could be drawn on an 8x8 grid.
The "focus square" looked like it was 5x5.

It looks like it might use several "partial seams" in the assembly process.

After looking at it more carefully, I'm thinking it would be easier to hand-piece it. I think I've figured out the pieces, but haven't quite figured out how to put the block together.

I love the fabrics in the first link you posted. Intriguing quilt.

Should I print this or not? Here goes -

I've made the quilt a couple of times and it's really easy. The focus block is more like 10 or 12 inches square, but you can draft it any size you want. I often draft my own patterns off pictures I see, but I caution you that the BQ patterns, as are all patterns, are copyrighted. I doubt that you'll find exactly that same pattern for free online. If so,it's in violation of the copyright laws. I'm going to be gutsy here and (don't anybody hit me) if it's easy to do yourself, don't look for a pattern free online...just draw it up and make it your own. Respect the work of the original designer and buy the pattern.

Ya I have done this one a couple of times. It is fast and easy.

No no no partial seams, Block ends up to be like 18" or more. There are rectangles involved.

I think that I would just do regular squares (whatever size I wanted) and put the sashings/borders on and then applique focus squares on top. I'm lazy that way. I can hand applique the squares on top and change up the pattern however I wanted.

It's really two patterns in one as there are two different sizes. The baby version would be so cute with a fun focus fabric.

This company has some gorgeous patterns. Very contemporary.

You could do a search on here in tutorials. Feathers posted a tute re this pattern she calls it a purple & yellow bunny quilt.You would just need to change her measurments.

I am new to quilting, and I ran across a very nice lady who told me that she volunteers at the Library. She said they have a lot of quilting books there that you can check out, or you can print the pages you need right there in the library. I hope this helps.
