This looks so beautiful and I was wanting to try one.
Does anyone know where I could find the directions?

check out John Flynn Braided Border. There are some pictures on some of the sites.

He had a book out with various borders. I don't know if it's still available.

nahhh.... its not difficult at all..... you just layer one piece on top of the other, sort of like a half log cabin

I don't think it's THAT difficult, but the problem I had was cutting the edge straight. One side came out thinner than the other and it was crooked.
