Really like this pattern. Like others have stated just make more rows til you have the size you want.

Maybe leave the bright squares off the gray border, then add them in a white one, then another gray. Whatever you decide, it is going to be a stunning quilt

You could make a border that has a whole string of beads that goes all the way around the blocks with a fancier center bead to look like a fancy clasp, or center hanging of some kind....
