Brother CS-6000i

I am having a lot of trouble with my other sewing machine, so I am getting a Brother CS-6000i . I mostly quilt by hand so it will be used for most regular sewing, and quilting small projects. Does anyone have one, and what can you tell me about it.

Thanks
JuneBillie

I do not have that Model, though it was the one I wanted to get but my local Wally World was out of them, I have a Brother CS-8080PRW that was the first machine that I bought. It has worked great for me sew far!!! It has quilting stitches that I like and a very helpful and user friendly manual. Do some research and read reviews online, I like my Brother and it has been good to me sew far!!!!

Here are some reviews:

Let us know if you get it and how you like it!!!

I've had one for about six months, and I love it. I also have an older Pfaff 7570, which I also love. I use them both now.

i have one and the stitches are very tight and even. i don't like the free motion foot... can't see enough of the quilting area. i have done lots of machine applique with mine...it has stitches to sew to the right or the left. i like the fancy stitches it has. oh, it is a bit noisy, but i got used to that in time.

It is a good little machine. I found it was not quite heavy-duty enough to do much quilting with, but for piecing it works great. My girlfriend is on her second one. It is her only sewing machine and she really likes it.

Brothers are the little siblings of Babylock is what I was told. I got to use my friends for a few days and it was quiet, solid and a truly wonderful machine. You can't go wrong.

I have had it for about 4 years and love it :) I do stitch in the ditch and wavy line quilting with it and no problems - love all the features you get for the price

I don't have that model but have used Brothers for years. I have only burned one out while sewing period costumes for Southern Ball, but had already had that machine for approx 12 yrs. The have good tight stitches.
