Does any on own a Brother CS 80 sewing machine? I own 2 and both give me the same problem. My top thread bunches up on the back of my sewing. I thought it was only the first machine I bought but the second one does it too. I contacted the company and received 2 different answers, neither of them worked. I love the machime and really want to make use of it.Also took it to a repair shop and they said they knew nothing about repairing this machine.

When the thread bunches up you need to be sure and hold the bobbin and sewing thread to the back of the machine when you begin the stitch. Some people call these "bird's nests".

also check to see your bobbin is in the right way. most brother machines I've seen have a little diagram on the plate showing how the thread should feed off the bobbin
