Brother Machines used on Project Runway

Just curious here. Does anyone here know what model of Brother, looks industrial the designers are using to sew with?

I saw a Brother lightweight DSM for sale at a Pfaff dealership with Project Runway emblazoned on the machine but I don't think it was the model that is used on the show. They do look like industrial machines to me because they probably can serge a seam.

I was noticing that too, but I've never seen machine that look like those in stores.

They are industrial machines -- made very differently from domestic models! They sew a lot faster, for one thing.

Some of those industrial machines sew 4500 and more stitches per minute, wow tha is fast like sewing with a race car

they sure do sew fast I worked in the garment industry for many years until they all closed and went overseas by the end of the 80's
