My dealer told me recently that Brother was coming out with a new setup ... I thought he said a frame. Anyway, he indicated that he would be putting a mid-arm on the frame and the package would run around $5,000. He hopes to have it setup in November for people to try. I hurriedly tried to research a few weeks ago but didn't find much info. I'll look again. I've been looking at the Juki longarm he has setup ($9,000) and really like it but that's not in my budget right now...plus I do have space limitations (unless I just take over the entire spare bedroom I sew in, which DH is not in favor of right now).

My brother dealer has one set up. You use one of the dream series on it to use as a long arm. It's neat looking. It's smaller than a long arm. There is info about it on brother website
