I have a Brother SE 400 sewing/embroidery machine...love this machine.

There was a post on this board somewhere about how to download embroidery patterns to the computer and then to the machine. I have the books that came with the machine but since I am NOT really good with downloading things and making them work I was hoping someone that has this machine can guide me step by step as to how to do it. I tried it according to the book but that didn't work. There was also a post that you could save the pattern in jpg so you can view it since in pes you can't view it....how do you do that?

Sorry I thought I bookmarked the post but they are not in my bookmarks.

If it should make any difference I have windows vista.

Thank You for your help, Roseanna (Jazzmyn) :-)

Does your machine have a hookup for usb or does it take cards or sticks. I have a brother machine, and have to download my designs to the computer and then transfer to a disk using a box (I use mini amazing box 2). That disk is then added to the sewing machine. It sounds complicated, but really is very easy.

YES the machine has the USB....you are supposed to just plug the usb into the computer and machine and download...well apparently I didn't do it right cause it did not work.

I will go to the Brother site and see what I can find out there.

Thank You for your help Roseanna(Jazzmyn)
