Brother SE 400 info
I know that quilt labels has been discussed on here before. I have a week old Brother SE400. I have never owned a embroidery machine; can I bake labels with this machine? It looks to me like that might be a possible for this machine. Thanks.

i have the SE 400. i bought it a few months ago. i have not tried the embroidery part, but other wise LOVE IT! i have made several quilts and it is reliable and never gives me any problems.
i will try and remember to check this post, to see your progress |
Once you master the embroidery part (which won't take very long at all), yes, you can make quilt labels. You will also be able to actually "quilt" with designs offered by many embroidery sites. Win, Win!!

Nanamoms, do you know that for sure? You have this machine? I'm so excited with it. I'm like ZZ, I haven't attempted the embroidery part yet. I've surfed some free pattern sites but havn't actually saved any as I wasn't sure how to get started....they have to be no bigger than 4 x 4, right and they must be .dst files? Is that right?
