Being fairly new, not sure what these patterns are like. Love the Barn Raising Pattern,,paper pieced? Stack and slash? Can someone help me out. thanks in advance Opps! This is a Buggy Barn Pattern.

I have 2 BB books and did the angels...it is a form of stack and slash with definate instructions...they are fun

You stack your FQ, generally lights in one pile, darks in the other, cut them, shuffle them, and then sew. At the end you square them all up. My avatar is a Buggy Barn pattern called Star Bright.

I love the buggy barn patterns, very forgiving, loads of fun and great projects for working on in small bits of time (....I only have an hour or two, I can sew all of these seams today.....).Try it, you'll like it!

When you buy a book, there IS more than the one pattern you want, isn't there?

The BB patterns are so easy to understand and use. The quilts look wonderful. And ... they are fun to make. No special rulers are needed.

There are several patterns in each book. Maybe you can share with a friend and each buy a different book. [Shhh, don't tell on me for this.]

be ready for what some considered wasted fabrics....but it won't be wasted if you use it for scrap or crumb quilts when you're done with the BB pattern.

I love buggy barn patterns. My first one was the barn chicks...chickens of course! The buggy barn shop is in eastern WA...not far from Spokane. A fun place to visit and the gals are so helpful! Look at the cats, chickens, baskets and star patterns...all a lot of fun! :)
