Has anyone here ever installed a built-in ironing board....the type that is inset between wall studs? We are remodeling our house and I am thinking about putting one in the laundry room and I would love to know what brand you used and how you like it.
Thanks in advance for your help. Kanoelani |
I think those are really neat, and they save space. My Mum had one in her house, as well as a laundry chute...shoving my friends little brother down that chute ended with Dad nailing it shut! LOL

Shadow...LOL.... i don't have either but the iron board sounds like a great thing as a space saver.

I have a built in ironing board. It came with the house. I love it.
Another key feature is when the door is closed, it's a full length mirror    the mirror on the door There is a rod on the inside of the door for hanging clothes |
Fancy Foot,
Your ironing board looks terrific. Do you know the brand? Thanks, Kanoelani |
I have the one by Iron Away.....Love it!

Connie,
I found Iron-away on the internet. Is the board nice and sturdy at the rounded end when you press down? Kanoelani |
Yes, I have had no problems....it is of high quality.
