I often feel the same way...just reading thread here where a member stopped 'late' to an estate sale and scored several hundred dollars of fabric and quilting supplies for $40...I was thinking why can't I ever find GREAT deals like that???

He was taking it to his wife, who has always wanted one, but they couldn't afford it, it will make her day :). Or it was filled with bedbugs, whatever works for you... Sorry, I'm bummed for you too.
