Since I usually iron on the back/wrong side (always have after scorching father's shirt), suggestions prior to seem pretty good. If I have to iron on the right side, I use a pressing cloth. I lower temp for the right side if I have to iron both sides.

I looked up online and here's how I solved it. http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-t...from-clothing/ It turns out hydrogen peroxide can remove burn marks. It works well.
