I was hoping they fixed it themselves and it was something simple. It's a real bummer, as I have only used it exactly once so far.

I have a Clover mini that I just love. Plugged it in, turned it on, 5 minutes later....no heat. Checked the outlet, checked the on/off....nothing. Has anyone else had their iron 'burn out'?

Contact the company to see if they have a guarantee policy. They want our business and will often replace a product that does not last as long as expected.

I have the Clover mini Wedge iron. They are not made anymore. It's a great little iron if you can find one still out there somewhere.
|
I'm curious. I have one that I don't use. Why do you like it so well?

The Clover Wedge iron? It reminds me of the play iron I had when I was a little girl with child size metal ironing board. It gets hot enough to press seams and easy to hold. Perfect for pressing at machine. No auto shut off. About 6 inches long.
https://d384mi819045d8.cloudfront.ne...=1500,q=90,v=1 Amazon had a flash sale on them before they were discontinued for $1l.99 each. I bought them for Christmas gifts for my sewing group (and a spare for me) and we use them at our retreats by our machines. So far all the irons are working great and it's been a few years. |
Treat yourself to a new one. You must have used the burned out one a lot, you deserve a new one.
