As for showers sometimes the people giving it do not know who should be invited. Maybe innocently ask if a shower is planned and were it will be.

Our church gave a shower for my new DIL to be and they did not invite everyone. It was just an over sight and I know they would if they had realized. Like one of the families not invited was the mother and sisters of the best man. this fmaily goes to our church and is best friends with us for over 20 years. It was odd!

Love this for a baby, the backing is great! About the shower, perhaps just call her and ask, let her know her cousin mentioned a shower, and you hadn't received an invitation and didn't know if it was lost in the mail or perhaps it was for a specific group such as coworkers. It is possible you are invited but the invite was lost.

What a perfect backing. Love the circle pattern repeat. The circles on the backing accentuate the circle pattern on the front. Just perfect!!! What a talented husband you have and how nice that he participates with your quilting projects.
