As often as possible :) :) :)

I tend to buy with specific projects in mind........however.....sometimes there is that piece that you just have to have. I say find a favorite Quilt shop locally and spend some time there, get to know the ladies that work there and feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel the fabric!!!!! :D

On Sale.
With a coupon. With a gift card. I agree to start at a local shop. Once you know what you like you can then move to internet shopping. |

I just love to buy fabric ! I don't need a special reason or project. I enjoy the thrill of the hunt ! LOL just buy what you want when you want it and can afford it. no special rules.

When I was just getting started I bought with specific projects in mind. Your stash will build from the leftovers. Once you get rolling you will have a better idea of what you really do like and what fabric lines you like to work with.
If you see a fat quarter or yardage you absolutely love buy it. You will use it eventually or you may just love having it close. That's OK too. |
Like my DH says - the most fun I have is buying fabric - I guess it is a sickness!

By the truckload! LOL :)
I buy some of mine locally, but most I buy online. :) |

Actually, he doesn't let me use his credit card. lol I have my own little account that is used for fabric. But, there's also "getting help from friends". That's a good way to get fabric too, right? :) :) :) |
I like to buy localy, that way I can see/feel the fabric. I've started to buy fat quarters if I realy love a particular print but have no plans for it.

I buy what is on sale and feels good to me. I rarely purchase at full price. I am building my stash from sales and my mom's attic stash. If I like it and it is on sale I buy it.
