Can anyone help me find this tute?

Jenny Doan posted a video of a block using a layer cake, large simple wedge template and black jelly roll on each side. I thought I saved it to my desktop but I can't find it anywhere. I've been checking all morning on her tutes and still can't find it.

If anyone knows the pattern and tute I mean and perhaps saved the download to their computer, could you direct me to it. I'm so frustrated at this point. I should be able to figure this out and I just can't for some reason.

at her 'buy site', you can ask a question, and they will usually get back to you right away. or pretty quick. I wanted some material, and could't find it .

That link to her sashed tumbler quilt was great. Thank you!

Very much like that one except it was made with the large wedge tool. If all else fails I can always make this pattern.

Thanks for posting it.

If it was fairly recent it might have been with Man Sewing, Rob. The Burst Block. Try that one. Rob did it alone and then he did a tutu with Jenny.

No, that's not it but thank you. The one I'm looking for uses the large wedge template that she sells and that I bought and now can't find the pattern to use it on :-(

I tried this technique twice. asking a question and got an answer that they "don't understand me". Gee, a block using the wedge ruler with black jelly roll sides on each block sounded clear to me. :-(

This may help. It lists every pattern tutorial that is in Block magazine http://shops.missouriquiltco.com/blo...erns-by-issue/

I found these two that used the wedge ruler:

possibly "cutting corners"?

If it was a recent tutorial, go to the toolbar on your internet page and click on history, everything you have looked at should be listed there...hope this helps..

You might try posting on their forum http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/forum.php

From one of their forums, a list of tutes using the wedge http://quiltingtutorials.com/?s=Wedge

Fizzle 10-26-2016 06:52 PM

Could you post a photo of the ruler you have? That might helps us help???

I think you are talking about the sashed half hexi quilt. Check out the site that sewnclog posted. I plan on make it it soon.

If you have a smart phone download their app. It is super simple and fast to see every single tute they have ever had.

You may be looking for the Bordered Periwinkle tute. I'm hoping to start one after the holidays.
