Can anyone recommend a modern baby girl quilt pattern?

My DD just gave birth on the 8th of March to a beautiful baby girl named Isabella Sophia. I'm having a terrible time finding a quilt pattern for the new babe that is both stylish and fairly modern. Can anyone help please? I'm fairly new to quilting have only made 6 so far, so nothing too too tricky!

I did something like this for a baby girl blanket that was quick and easy and fairly modern:

There's so many you could try. Here are a few links:

Traditional designs done in modern fabrics are also nice. A simple trip around the world, 9 patch with sashing or alternating with larger squares, etc. Lucky Stars by Atkinson Designs is a great pattern. I did a couple of baby ones, one in all pastels, the other in pinks/greens that came out great. Very easy too. The hardest part is choosing which one to use!

Michael Miller Fairies. I have twins coming in May, and am making their quilts from this. The fabric is much prettier than what you find online. It's just goregous.

This quilt is from the book Sweet Nursery Chic, the book is available at Amazon.com, I bought mine at quilt store. There is a really cute monkey and ice cream cone one in the book, I bought fabric to make it too. I had mine made in a day. I used minkee in the ears and on a couple of the circles for a touchy feel for baby.

Here is a 3D pinwheel quilt with gingham and eyelet. Sharon of Chicago posted hers and I loved it so much that I did this for my niece. This is my first Free Motion Quilt on my machine. It was easy to put together. You can go to the tutorial achives to find the tutorial and pictures of 3D pinwheel quilts. Hope this helps.

My DD gave birth to her first little one on Mar 8th and I'm having trouble finding a fairly modern quilt pattern that would be suitable for little Isabella. Nothing abstract but stylish. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I've only been quilting a short time and have made just 6 quilts, so nothing too elaborate.

Go to the manufacture websites. You can download free patterns. Stitchin Heaven has a good list of them. (Do not have any ties to them, just like their list. It is complete.)
