My son-in-law is Canadian and is a big fan of the Toronto Mapleleafs. I would like to make him a hockey quilt. I would love to buy some Toronto Mapleleaf fabric, or yardage in Toronto Mapleleaf blue. If you have any info, I would love it.
Thanks.

I will start looking for you...how many yards do you want?

Have you tried ebay? I found Corvette fabric there when I couldn't find it anywhere else.

You might send Lockeb a pm. He has fabrics and maybe he can keep an eye out for you too.

I saw some hockey fabric on equilter www.equilter.com but don't remember if it had specific NHL teams. I would try to get in touch with the NHL offices. They would know if anyone had been given permission to print it. All of the sport team "stuff" is licensed.

I was recently at Len's Mill Store (fabrics, yarn + a whole lotta other stuff!) & I may have seen some there? Not positive as I wasn't specifically looking...but I'm happy to go back & check it out. If so, how much do you folks need, um, want?!

A suggestion might be if the bedspread works, buy the
bedspread and cut it up. I don't know the cost of the
bedspread or what it has on it, but it's just a suggestion. :-)

I don't think there is - or ever has been - any officially licensed NFL fabrics.

I do recall there were rumors that something like this was in the works several years ago, but as no fabric ever came out of it, I guess they were truly just rumors after all.

Being in a hockey town myself... if there was such a thing, I'd have it by now!

You mean NHL right?!

If you find it, I would like 2 yards of either or both. Thanks.

Oh, silly me! Yes, I meant NHL.

(Can you tell I'm not the biggest sports fan in our household?)

I emailed the biggest fabric chain in Toronto and they don't carry any..in fact she said she has been trying to get some for some time...the only other thing I can think of is sheets in Maple Leafs fabric..do you think that will work...I can check around for you for those if you wish...
